I have severe allergies

Please note that all our products are baked fresh onsite in our kitchen, where we handle all major allergens of Peanuts, Tree nuts, Soybeans, Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Shellfish or Fish

However, we are able to accommodate by removing nuts from some of our recipes, but please be aware nuts are handled in the same kitchen.

If you have a serious allergy to any of these allergens or one which could cause you to have a major allergic reaction, sadly the only way for you to be 100% safe is not to consume any of our products.

How long do the cakes last?

The cakes will last between 7- 10 days when kept at room temperature, in a cool, dry place.

Or they can be wrapped and placed in the freezer and kept for 3 months.

The passion fruit, Chocolate fudge cake (vegan) and the keto bakehouse Special, should be consumed within 3 days - if it lasts that long!

Do I have to eat the cakes straight away?

No, The flavour of the Classic Cakes ( i.e. Bakehouse Classic, Bakehouse Special, Plantain Cake and Carrot Cake) enhance over time, so do not have to be eaten straight away.

Can I freeze the cakes?

Yes, the cakes can be kept in the freezer for up to 3 months.

To store: You must remove the packaging which the cakes arrived in, and re-wrap the cakes in cling film followed by tin foil.

To Defrost: Remove the cake from the freezer and place in the fridge at least 24 hours before consuming.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to UK addresses only.

Order to the Channel Islands are delivered by royal mail, so depending on the weight, will have separate/ additional delivery charges.

How long does it take to deliver the cakes?

You should allow at least 3 working days to process your order

We use a courier service to deliver our products, they deliver within 2 - 4 days.

As a guide, from payment to delivery, it takes 7 days for your order to arrive.

My order has arrived damaged

Unfortunately, once we post the packages they are out of our control. Should your cake arrive damaged/ 'off', please do not hesitate to contact us and we will try to send you the same order, free of charge, excluding delivery.

My order has not arrived yet

Unfortunately, once we post the packages they are out of our control.

Firstly, please track your parcel, via the courier details we provide in 'your order is on its way' email, and follow the instructions provided by the courier service in terms of tracking the parcel/ contacting their depot.

If your package has been lost in their system, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will try to send you the same order, free of charge.
